I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.

@ cross- at the bookstore! i just told the cashier that i needed to buy some patches for nursing and order my name tags and she gave me this little sheet to fill out. 6.75 (i think)for the pin-on and 7.99 for magnetic.

@jefe- the self registration is for the continuing nursing students [those who have already taken foundations/skills/...], so it does not apply to us since we are just beginning, we get to self register AFTER this upcoming semester. I was confused about that also when i first read it lol.

I guess if I bothered to put two and two together, I would have noticed the schedule was for the entire program and not just for 1st year students. I really am a genius, you know!

I can't believe I forgot to order my name tags! Lol now I have to make another trip up there.... I think I'll order 2 cause knowing me I may misplace one :-) is everyone ordering magnetic or pin?

I'm going to do the same thing because knowing me I'll lose one sooner or later. Definitely going with magnetic or maybe one of each. I'm also still curious if I should get another patch for the lab coat...

I am pretty sure I read somewhere that you need a patch for the lab coat. I need to get going! Haven't started on any of this stuff.

lol i ordered 2-pin-on ones, incase i wash it, it will stay on my shirt & I KNOW im going to lose one, haha maybe when i get more money ill order about 5 or so lol. :D

I bought 3 patches, 2 for scrubs and one for the lab coat (which i still need to buy...) I will probably buy more later in the program but those will do for now, i haven't bought my white scrub tops yet either! and i still haven't found my shoes!

where is the "health form?" the receptionist said that it was in our application packet...is that the immunization form?
