I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.
Yeah, you usually have to show a current class schedule to get a parking pass.....maybe take a copy of your acceptance letter to see if they'll give you one?
JVaughn, I don't see any evening clinicals listed on the schedule. Check out http://www.tccd.edu/Courses_and_Programs/Program_Offerings/Nursing/Self-Registration.html for more details.
Is anyone else out there struggling to wrap their brains around this class schedule? It says on the self-registration info sheet that students are to self-register for all of the 4 theory/clinical sections (adult health, children/families, maternal/newborn, and complex concepts), but not the Nursing Skills 1105, Foundations for Nursing 1413, or the clinical 1460 sections listed on the first page of the class schedule. What the heck am I missing here?
@ cross- at the bookstore! i just told the cashier that i needed to buy some patches for nursing and order my name tags and she gave me this little sheet to fill out. 6.75 (i think)for the pin-on and 7.99 for magnetic.
@jefe- the self registration is for the continuing nursing students [those who have already taken foundations/skills/...], so it does not apply to us since we are just beginning, we get to self register AFTER this upcoming semester. I was confused about that also when i first read it lol.

Oh okay cool! Then I'll swing back in and order mine tomorrow. :-)
Dreamer - I have a question about Littmann Stethoscope. What kind of Littmann do you get? and how good is it? I am planning to purchase Littmann Cardiology III Stethoscope: Black 3128. Do you think it is a good one? I just one to get the good one that last and easy to use during clinical.
Thank you,
