Tarrant County Fall 2011 Applicants

Published

Hello,

I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.

I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.

I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.

I was accepted!

My kid just walked in from high school. I am making him watch me open it. He is rolling his eyes.......My letter says Dear Applicant: Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, most of the exclamation marks are mine. O....M....G.

I still can't believe it took this long to find out. :w00t:

This is probably the most exciting TCC thread ever. I swear. Congrats everyone!

So...my big white envelope is sitting on the bed beside me and I am fighting back to the urge to open it until my husband gets home. Ugh...frustrating! Haha, it's total torture!

StudentCL : CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I knew you would get in :) You deserve it!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to you too 3wishes!

Welcome EMA90! Good luck to you getting that huge envelope!! Will you share your scores??

Just open it very carefully and reseal it...heat up the seal with something to make it moist so it opens easily...or just rip up the envelope real good and tell him it came that way!!!

Congrats everyone!!

I WAS ACCEPTED!! Time to celebrate! *wine

I took the "stalking my mailman" a bit too literally... and actually tracked him down a few streets over and begged him to give me my mail (I was even prepared with my DL to prove to him who I was and where I lived). I tried to stress to him how important this letter was and how agonizing it was knowing that it was still stuck in transit. He didn't seem to care about the letter as much as I did. :lol2: He dug and dug and dug... then I told him it would most likely be in a big white envelope, so he started digging in another pile and finally found it. I ran back to my car and ripped it open (even though by that point I was absolutely certain I'd been accepted).

I can't wait to meet all of you in August. It seems that instead of getting our schedules at Orientation, they will be posted in a few weeks at the South Campus, and any schedule changes that need to be made have to be made before August 1st (we are allowed to switch schedules with another student, but you have to switch the ENTIRE schedule, not just one class). And there is a TON of other information in the packet, most of which I won't even be able to process until I have some quiet time tonight away from work.

Congrats everyone!!! Is anyone still waiting on their letters?

I got in!!! :)

:yeah: Congratulations to all of you!!! I have been following your progress and have even stalked my mail for you...haha! I am applying in August for next Spring and hope that we have this many active and exciting applicants! You all deserve your acceptance letters. Congrats again!

I'm really excited, but looking at this checklist has reminded me of how much we still have to do.
