Hello,
I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
OK, that makes me nervous, I don't think I put a printout of my TEAS score?? I'm pretty sure I was told it was unneccessary...it seems so long ago though that my memory is a little fuzzy. *freakout*Anybody else have any insight on this? Would I have already got an "Incomplete application" letter?
If you took the test at tcc, they are supposed to forward your scores to the Nursing department.
Not only what Loly said, but if your application was deemed "Incomplete", you would've already received a letter. They went out back in March or April, if I remember correctly.
YIKES!!! I am so glad we are coming to the end of this part of our journey. The nerves are getting to all of us. This extended wait has put everyone in a rush to be prepared and make decisions, but I hope it all works out for the best in the end for all of us.
I do remember the lady at the testing center saying that they would send our scores over to the nursing department. So, don't worry about that, if you took it at TCC.
Thanks Dreamer. Its nice to know that I'm not alone in my concerns.
Thank you also lmd1679. Your comment about difficult obstacles equaling exceptional achievers held the gravity I needed right now. However, I've never been one to follow my gut but rather my head. In this situation however I can really do neither. I have to follow my bank account. I'm sure my previous comments seemed callous or niggling to some. That is why I began with the caveat of adoration for TCC instructors. If the instructors in the TCC nursing program are anything like the instructors in the other undergraduate classes that I've taken at TCC then I will consider myself to be very fortunate and I will be honored by the opportunity to learn from them.
I hope to have the opportunity to learn, help, and be helped by all of you in the coming whirlwind that is the first semester of nursing school!
:anbd:My nerves have been numbed from prolonged (lack of) stimulation, but I bet the anesthesia wears off the butterflies in my stomach as I wait for tomorrow's mail. I'm ready to get off this roller coaster and on to the next ride.
Here here my friend! I am so ready. And I just started thinking, maybe they wont arrive tomorrow?? Is it certain that if they sent them out this morning they will arrive tomorrow??!! I can't take it anymore!! I'm quite ready to walk to the school and demand they tell me before I go postal!
