Hey, just wanted to know if there were any fellow Tarrant County College pre-nursing students out there? Just thought perhaps we could share ideas, rants, even commiserate w/ one another! :D

I'm going to both tr and nwest campus, well I will be! Are u just starting out, bc I am. Idk anyone who is just starting. I have a 2 in a half year old and a 3 week old :)

I am just starting. I am taking Chem on Fridays. Still finalizing what Math I will be placed into and when I will be taking it. I am also taking classes on Sat to get my CNA certification. Whew........busy!!

I thought math was a prerequisite for any science class, maybe it's just me, I'm not sure. Oohhh that ntci has Saturday classes? That would be good for me!

i am confused on what is a prereq an what isn't! I am just going to take the accuplacer and go where i test into. I planned on taking math anyway so that I could be prepped for the HESI. I think there is a dosage class also. That is not a required class but I might check into it.

The Sat class starts on August 20! I'd call today and use extension 2040. Not sure how the enrollment process is now. I attended a session and got enrolled in July.

My counselor told me the math was a Prerequisite for science but it might be bc I didn't pass all my math on my accuplacer, just do your best on the math & maybe it won't be a problem for you! Bc I have to take a developmental math class & then I think one or two more maths after that! Ughhh! That dosage class sounds good too I think I wanna do that class! Are u talking about tcc sat day class or the cna class?

I am going back to TCC to take my sciences and am planning to take Chemistry and Microbiology in the Spring 2012. I don't have to work so I feel this is doable. Am I crazy? Also, TCC requires Chem 1406 for their nursing program but UTA and TCU prefer Chem 1411. I would like to attend nursing at TCC but if I don't get in and go to another school, will they accept Chem 1406?!

Hi. I just joined today. I am taking my last semester of Prerequisites for the TCC nursing program. I will apply this Fall to the program. I attend the South campus.

Hey Toadlily, I just joined today as well and will be finishing up my prereqs this summer so I can apply in August for Spring '13 entrance! I'm at the Northwest campus. Good luck to you!

Hi I am also finishing up so I can apply in August. My next semester is going to be crazy b/c I am doing Chem and AP1. And then i will take AP2 in summer. But I am so excited and cant wait to apply. I attend the Southeast campus. Good luck to everyone!

KLP - I just took chemistry last semester and made an A. Let me know if you need any help understand the material! I'm also taking AP 1 in the spring and in the summer I'll take AP 2 and micro. Good luck!

Hello Everyone! I am also working on my pre-req's. I am enrolled in AP2 and Chem for Spring 2012, then planning on taking Micro in the summer. My plan is to apply this fall for Spring 2013! love this forum and the info it provides. Good luck everyone!
