This topic was created for those who will be applying to Tarrant County College's Fall 2014 Nursing Program. The dialog is open for those who have never applied and those who have applied multiple times. Let's discuss our frustrations, stats, best practices for study and the HESI, where you are at achieving your goal, and if you plan to apply anywhere else.
I have applied and was turned down 3.50 Science, 90 HESI, 970 Critical thinking (for another nursing program). I was knocked down, but I refuse to stay there.
Let's talk!
I agree, this is a quiet thread. Hopefully it will pick up after the 31st or maybe...not many applied this semester.... daring to hope!
Yes! I think most everyone on this thread is applying for Fall. This thread is very quiet compared to all the others I read from the past. Im so anxious :) Cant wait to know
So a little update. I didn't make it in to the radiology program at TCC, just received the letter today. It's what I expected cause my overall GPA isn't that great. Anyway my first choice is Weatherford College radiology then TCC nursing. When I turned in my nursing application at tcc the advisor said my grades were competitive. It sounded to me like the scores are lower this time around or maybe it's just less applicants. Who knows though it's always hard to get some info about other applicant scores.
That sucks! How are you competitive for nursing and not radiology. I really hope many have not applied!

Hi! I'm new here and will be applying next week for Fall 2014. I took the Hesi yesterday and got a 92 score. So hopefully...
