Tara Miller's workshop in PA :)

Just wanted to write a little review of the workshop I took in April since it's a fairly new one. First of all, Tara is fantastic. Such a great instructor and she really knows her stuff. She only has 4 students at a time and it's a 5-day class. After taking the class I feel so much more confident about what I need to know for the CPNE and what my weak areas are. We did mock PCS's on the last 2 days which really made me realize what it is like to work under pressure. For anyone who is considering taking a workshop, you can't go wrong with this one!! The website is Home Page. Oh and it's close to York, PA which is where I am testing so now I know long how the drive is. One less thing to worry about!!

I live in KY so i'm trying to figure out which one will be the closest to me when my time comes! Thanks for the info!

I checked out the page. Looks good. Glad to hear you enjoyed it and learned a lot.

Wonder how long it will take Excelsior to make them take CPNE out of their name and web title.

I am taking the work shop this week and learning so much, cpne here I come!

I live about an hour North of Lexington, KY. It's neat how you are doing a test every month. Im trying to take 1 about every 6-8 weeks. I work full-time (1 8 hour shift and 2 16 hour shifts a week). Sometimes I think I study too much but Im afraid of failing a test.

I am about 45 minutes from Lexington,KY. Sounds like we maybe pretty close. I am quickly approaching my Transitions to RN exam and currently waiting on my books for Reproductive Health. I would be awesome to study with someone and to find a workshop we could go to together. I have completed Microbiology and Health Safety, now on Transitons.:)
