CPNE
ok....needing some advice. need any info out there on robs cpne stuff....good or bad. input on excelsiors cpne prep video, workbook, and flashcards. are these things worth buying? i can not afford to go to a workshop so i am looking to see what other people who did not go to any of the workshops did to be successful in passing cpne. is it really possible to pass this without going to a workshop? getting a bit nervous. tracey

CPNE
To be able to get a workshop in Kentucky,**** would need to have at least 10 people to attend. Most of the workshops I have looked at have been pretty far from where I live. Lexington, Ky would be a great location for a workshop because it is not a bad distance from IN, TN,and OH. We need to round a more people to get it going and we need to get one going soon.

CPNE
Hi all! First, I passed LS2 Friday! Only have Chronicity left for exams. Second, CPNEwith ****....she will come to Kentucky to do a workshop if she has 10 people. Anyone interested or willing to come to Kentucky for her workshop? Anyone close to being eligible for CPNE soon?

Inbox me and I will send you some contact info. I can't believe that I am finally this close. I started this program one year ago this month and hope to finish it very soon. Let me know how your doing. Good luck to everyone!!!!:)

Anyone doing Excelsior LPN to RN?
WestPalmLPN, you must be knocking those exams down! WTG~ it is so encouraging to hear other success stories. I have been in the EC program since Jan 2010 and I have 3 exams, FCCA,and CPNE left. LS3 is what I am currently studying, then on to LS2 and Chronicity! I can't wait to be done. Very nervous about LS3, I hear it is a tough one!

Microbiology exam advice - what did you use?
I used Micro Demystified and Micro Cliff Notes. I bought them from Amazon.com for pretty cheap and got a B. Good Luck!

Seriously struggling with LS1 (tiny vent)
Me too Tasha, but I just keep tugging along. I took LS1 in November and I hope to take LS3 in a few weeks. I will only have 2 exams left, LS2 and Chronicity. I am so ready for this to be over. Congrats on passing LS1:yeah:

In need of some serious encouragement
Just jump in there and do it! I agree with the other post, dispite the practice scores, I usually do way better on the acutal exam. You can do this, I log in here to keep motivated and be inspired by all the successful people that post on here. When I am down and want to quit, they keep me going and usually only read the post. Its enough to let me know to keep on going. Good luck!:)

Any LPN's here experienced Excelsior or ISU??
I am using RUE and so regret spending that much money. I wished someone had advised me before hand. I have a friend doing the same program just through Excelsior and not using College Network or Rue and saving thousands of dollars. She is passing her exams just fine. You don't need those publishing companies to pass and be sure to read the fine print and between the lines. Once they get you hooked, you can never get out of paying. Yeah, I will admit the workbooks are very helpful, but weighing the cost now, it was not worth it. Good luck.
