I am very excited to apply for TCC's Spring 2014 cohort! I have a 3.7 GPA and 90.5 HESI score, totaling 143.5 points. I also completed microbiology and humanities.
I feel good about my score, based on previous posters having 138 points and ultimately getting in. We have put down our $1k deposit on day care and have arranged our lives for a January start date.

Have any alternates heard anything about being accepted yet? If so what rank on the alternate list were you? I'm trying to gauge if I'm going to get in or not based on how many people ahead of me have gotten in.
Every one else beeing charged the 167 for background services and $50 for fingerprinting? Just want to make sure I not shelling out money for services when I don't have to.
We have Untill November 30 to complete the backround check and health info. I would imagine that you or anyone else would not hear anything about admittance until much much closer to the program start date. I would not waiste my money on the backround check website unless I was super high on the alternate list or I got a email saying I was in.
Background check only takes like a a few days to go through. And yes you have to pay that much. The alternates usually heard back around 2-3 weeks after initial acceptance letters were given out. One student in my group heard as little as two weeks before school started though.
Its me chelsea I sat next to you during orientation. I haven't heard anything back either I did find out what number I started out as on the alternate list but they said I've been moved up since and they are waiting on some alternates to respond to their acceptance. I don't know how long they have to respond to the email but I hope we hear something soon because its driving me crazy.
Oh hey!! I hope we hear soon, this anticipation is killing me! I wonder if that means I've moved up too? Do you know what your new spot is on the list?
I know its really killing me too I just hope that we get in and we have enough time to get everything turned in if we do get in. When they emailed me they said they had to recalculate where I was on the list all they could tell me is that I moved up and as we discussed in the orientation you should be one before me since we were a point off from each other. I just wish i knew some of the other alternates so that we could get an idea of where we are at!
I know! As I find things out I will let you know so you can have a rough idea. I'm doing my vaccines on Wednesday and CPR on nov 21st at southeastern so all I will have left to do if I get in are uniforms and background check.
Ok I will do the same with keeping you updated if I hear of anything as well. I'm doing CPR with southeastern as well but my class is on Nov 18th 5:30-10 pm. I need to get my vaccines and I just need to call my doctors back home for my shot records. Where are you getting your vaccines done?

Has anyone paid for their urine analysis yet? Trying to get a handle on all of the costs so that I can space them out accordingly. That being said, does anyone have plans for working through the semesters? I'm kind of depressed with the idea of quitting my job and taking out loans. Priorities, priorities..
Also, ggoodman, did the deadline get updated? The last notification I got said Nov. 25. Extra time would be greatly appreciated lol
