:/ I only took the portions required by Tcc, so I don't know if they factor in science for the average. I wouldn't think so because they don't factor in your co reqs grades (micro and humanities) for your applying GPA. That's just my thought process on it tho. Just study like crazy between now and the test and do NOT doubt yourself. I'm a prime example that you can get in with your GPA because mine was a 3.1, and you just need a slightly higher hesi.

If I'm not mistaken the deadline to apply for the spring is in September, so if you do decide to retake the hesi you have a month to prepare. Even if you don't retake the hesi I would apply anyway!

Well I was an alternate for the spring with a 132. I made it in for fall semester with a 140 because I took my hesi again. If you are planning on retaking the hesi be sure to make it count because you can only take it twice total. I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any more questions! :)

I emailed the school to find out if the required books are accurate or if they are going to change. If they are accurate definitely go through amazon. The book store total was $511 (before tax) and my amazon total was only $235 (that's cheaper than 1 of the fundamentals books from the book store). I'll keep y'all posted!

I know! I will definitely be celebrating tonight! It's not going to be easy, but it will be worth it. The only down side is losing a bit of time with my almost 2 year old, but it's for the greater good!

It shouldn't take 8weeks. According to a board on here, last fall they had 340 applicants and it took 6 weeks due to the high number. Hopefully we will know in the next week or so. As far as the vaccination record goes I think it just needs to be signed by a doctor. The only record I had was one that my mom wrote and was never signed, so I had to track down my doctor from 20+ years ago and email him. He was able to email a new record verifying the one my mom jotted down. I took that to my primary and had the office staff write it out onto a blue form that the school would accept. The health department would probably do it too.

Is the anticipation getting to anyone else? This is my second time applying, and I'm ready to know! Last time it only took 5 weeks for letters to go out, so hopefully we will know soon. Did anyone else apply for last spring?
