I am very excited to apply for TCC's Spring 2014 cohort! I have a 3.7 GPA and 90.5 HESI score, totaling 143.5 points. I also completed microbiology and humanities.
I feel good about my score, based on previous posters having 138 points and ultimately getting in. We have put down our $1k deposit on day care and have arranged our lives for a January start date.

Rylee it loos like registration opens Nov 6. So I assume that's when we can register for classes.
Very excited and looking forward to meeting everyone. I srted thie adventure in Alaska got into nursing school up there then we moved. I really didn't want to go back just for school.
The class search feature is now available for the Spring semester. We can start planning on what time to take our classes, registration opens Monday November 4th.
I assumed since there was only ~50 of us we would get to take the classes when they decided to offer them. Additionally, I have heard that in years past students did not find out their clinical schedule until the the week of. Understandable given the number of students there are.
As for the clinicals, the time of the day will not be announced on the website. But you can either choose Thursday or Friday on when to take them. As for the other classes, they are pretty much all the same time except for the labs.
Yea, I signed into my TCC Passport, clicked "class search" on the right, chose Spring 2014 from the drop down tab, typed in "NUR" in one of the blank boxes, and hit search. That brought up every nursing class that will be available.

I heard through the grapevine that TCC will be expanding their program to include a BSN program in a couple years...which is around the time we would graduate.
