Taking nclex-RN in 6wks.

Hello,

I am taking boards in 6 weeks been studying solid for two weeks now. I have been an LPN for four years on a Med/Surg floor and believe this experience won't help me on the boards. Not only do I do things out of my scope but because of staffing issues I really don't get a chance to learn much because I'm always rushed.

I have been using Helen Feuer Nursing Review. I attended her review a while ago her books are really condensed not sure if this is enough for the boards. Exam Cram (love the book but don't like it for content). LaCharity, love this book I have been doing better in all areas...didn't start out that way.

My question is, I need a book that I can build up my knowledge in all areas of the nursing process, pediatrics, maternity and adult health ( can't get around those areas). I've been hearing a lot about Kaplan strategies, but I believe if I know what the question is asking then I should know how to answer the question and I wouldn't need a strategy to do that. I really can't afford to do another review nor do I have the time. Can anyone suggest a great book(s) that can help me.

God Bless.

Saunders Comprehensive Review is used by many who are successful.

Thanks guys, I have decided to use either Saunders Comprehensive Review or Prentice Hall Comprehensive review (although this book has the old test plan, new one does not come out until 7/2011). I'm also going with Kaplan Strategies and LaCharity PDA. I pray that I will be successful using these three sources. Also, I have a couple of cd's that I will use to see different kinds of questions.

Please share your opinion on my choices.

All the best to my girl, BetterMeRN who passed her boards. Best of luck in your nursing career.
