Hey guys,I'm scheduled to take the nclex-rn on monday but I do not feel ready!! I am currently doing the Hurst online review, which is brilliant! This is my second time taking the exam;I was weak on content on my first try. When I am reviewing the content areas;I am understanding the contents, feeling confident, but now I'm doubting myself. I Ireally cannot afford to fail this exam again,I am broke:confused:

Please give me some advice guys:crying2:

Hey i feel the same way but i keep telling my self the hard part is over untill i get my licenses every 45 days if i have to hopefully 2nd times a charm:saint:

hi november09,

i'm taking mine on the 14th and i'm also taking mine for the 2nd time. i also did hurst review online, and it was a great way to learn content, but i dont think it prepared for the higher level difficulty questions. i took kaplan the 2nd time and i'm hoping it helps. i've been doing questions and i've written out all the rationales ... we only have 1 week left! let's push through this!

wishing you all the best!

i took the nclex 2 times and the last time I took it i felt like im unprepared and that im still missing so much. we feel this way because of the pressure to pass it the next time we take it. i say go over your weak points, practice some questions. If you work hard on it, it will pay off. otherwise, if you feel like you need more time it doesn't hurt to reschedule. but then even the most prepared person for the nclex would feel they're unprepared. good luck to you!

i'm worried because i only did about 1,500 questions and it's because it took me so long to go over the rationales. alot of people here did 2000, 3000 even 4000+.

Hey Studykitty,

Thanks for replying to my post! How did you study the Hurst online material? I have listened to the videos over and over.I have learnt a lot from this review course, but I am still doubting myself.I'm tempted to reschedule the exam.I have heard a lot of people saying that the Hurst review questions are higher level questions...not sure,I can't remember the type of questions that I had.

I wish you the best of luck!!

Thank you guys, I really appreciate all your replies!

November09,

I listened to the videos and filled in all the notes that came with the online package. I go back here and there for some clarifications but i haven't been focusing on hurst after my 1st attempt of taking nclex.

this time, i'm purely going by kaplan- i feel like the kaplan style questions are similar to nclex.. i'm using the blue saunders book for content and i'm going to try to do most of LaCharity during this week.

i was tempted to reschedule as well, but i've worked at this over a month and i think i feel prepared enough. i've really tried to focus on understanding the rationales so i've only completed around 1,500 questions. will we ever know for sure if we're completely ready? probably not... but i'm gona go for it!

good luck studying!!

I've gone over the videos about 12 times, have not done much studying from the notes that I filled out. I've done three of the six exams.I've read some of the 5th day material also.Don't know what else to do.Now I'm coming down with the flu:confused:
