  2. Looking for a study buddy to help master this test. I heard wonderful things about remar review but when I tried to order yesterday it was sold out. Can some one please throw some random facts from that review that would be helpful
  3. Well you know we can do this. I plan on buying the 4000 cd, i have all my study notes, i just bought index cards every thing is going on them. I have the lacharity book and it is awesome. I can't re test till Nov. 1 so i am taking a break until Oct 1. If you find a better study plan please share i have to do this for my 4 year old daughter
  4. Thanks every one, you guys are the best and i am so glad that i joined this community i would keep recommending to others
  5. Okay so the pvt do work:down: I didn't pass boards once again but i am ok because the hard part is over which is school, and i can continue to study and retake in 45 days. I only had 4 SATA, 2 exhibits, NO pharm, mainly delegation, manage min. I have a lot of drugs that i had had no clue about and a couple of psych. I do find that the La Charity book did help a lot. Oh yeah i did have those infection control questions. So now i am off to paying for the exam again and studying and in 45 days i will go at it again.
  6. i used lacharity, ati mentor, sauders sometimes, nclex made ridiculous simple, and some study notes. I really thought i prepared my self for the exam this time but guess i didn't
  7. Ok so i just came from testing, did the PVT and got the credit card page. Its ok i feel like i did better than before so i just go at it again in 45 days. But i am not picking up another book my life has to go on and i can't keep depending on the NCLEX RN to pay bills, at the end of the day i am still a LPN. And every 45 days i will test:coollook:
  8. Thanks a bunch. You know what the old saying is A Family that Prays together stays together furture RN.
  9. Let me be the one to tell you do not give up. Some times god put obsticles in your way to make you see things the way he wants you too. I had to take the exam 6 times, i was in a very abusive relationship and had an abortion, sad to say, the five time i was trying to take boards and i never understood why i couldnt pass, never told any one about things i was going through. So the last day that i was beating i decided enough is enough only 24 at the time 30 now, i went home told my parents about the things that was going on and what i had done, i was so scarred to leave him but left that FOOL alone. This happen Janurary 05 march 05 i pass boards. So now i don't have all that going on but i have to retake my RN boards 2nd attempt tomorrow and i know that the first time i was not prepared at all just really wanted to see how the exam would be. So what i am saying just pray and trust god know that he is the author and the finisher, don't give up even when you think you just can't any more keep going.
  10. Ok so my time is counting down for the be NCLEX exam on tomorrow. I am feeling a lil nervous but i know that i can do this. I have been focusing on the LaCharity book, lab values, and infection control. I am now just looking through the Frye's 3000 nursing bullet as a refresher. For those of you who are getting ready to test begin ready 1 chronicles 4:10 every morning and every night until you test. I have anxiety really bad, but my mom called me on monday with this scripture and my mind and soul feel at easy. will keep inform on how this are going :redpinkhe:redbeathe
  11. The LaCharity book is awesome. That book has given me more confidence this time and this will be my second time to test on tomorrow at noon. I have also focuse on the infection control as well as lab values. My mom called me on monday and gave me this scripture to read every morning and every night 1 Chronicles 4:10. good luck, i have claimed victory in the name of jesus on tomorrow and all my worried has been laid in his hand.
  12. congrats:nurse:
  13. Sorry, I didn't like the NCSBN app, but i do like the ATI app because it gives you the rationale for the wrong answers as well
