Taking the nclex-rn exam for the 3rd time on oct.2

It will be my 3rd time to take the nclex rn exam and its killing me just thinkin about it... i wanna be as relaxed and calm as possible but it seems like i can't focus on my review this past few days... months before, i used to answer 150-200 questions a day but now that i only have a few days left i know im supposed to answer more questions but i cnt seem to do it... im scared.. and im so nervous!:heartbeat... i really really wanna pass this test... and i can't wait to learn new things... and be an effective nurse . This is what im ought to do so help me pls dear GOD. :angel:

I failed the first time with 265 questions and passed the second time with 75. I used ATI review ( I had already paid for it and went thru it once so I redid it) exam cram which I loved, lacharity (loved that one too), NCSBN (although I didnt get through the whole thing) and my note cards with drug endings and pneumonics. I used Saunders for content on my weak areas. I only studied about 3-4 hours a night and took a day off here or there. I gave myself 45 days between the 1st test and the 2nd. Took the first week off because I had just found out I failed and hit the books. Oh I also used this site alot for the support and encouragement. Good luck with your studying. This was what I did and it worked out for me.

I am taking my test for the 3rd time as well and hope everyone well on their next try. No one understands how it feels to see FAIL 2x's! It takes a beating on your ego and confidence, but we have to get up and try again! Like one of the writers said, we made it through Nursing school and we can make it through this as well. We are fighting for this title, which only means that we will appreciate it that much more!! Good luck to everyone!!!!!

Good luck to u all...i just took re took my test for the third time yesterday....i felt better than the last time i took it but i still not too sure...im nervous because the first 2 times i took it i only got 75 questions and this time i only got 75 again....idk what to think

thanks guys... and you are right we did survive the battle of nursing school/college, if we can do that then eventually we will get that RN title & win the battle of the crazy nclex exam

ATI is assessment technologies institute....im not sure about their specific nclex reviews and or courses or whatever it is that they offer but i do know that many nursing programs use it as an added review and assessment tool during their programs. Including my nursing program....i personally did not like it when i was in school...but im not too sure about their nclex prep....as far as what i remember from their assessments during school....it was difficult and the questions were not as well compared to those of nclex as those of kaplan

hey guys.. I will also be reatking my nclex rn exam this month. I cannot believe how quick October has arrived. This month i am claiming it b/c i want and need this to be it for me, as my journey has been long and challenging, not a s long as some that i have read on here, but it has been long just the same. With the grace and help of God plus my studying that i have put it, i know that the Lord is gonna let me claim it this time around and so can others. Reach for the stars b/c we all can do this and will do this!!!!!!!

tnx much, i took a 3 day break without sTudying anything and now im back trying to focuse again answering questions, i am taking kaplan and i had my class too like 1 month ago, i feel upset coz i think i didnt follow the instruction in the book..its supposed to be 2 weeks after my class im planning to sked my test again but unfortunately im still waiting for my ATT buT how come its not here yet?..i already received the mail thing but im waiting for the email for me to sked my test.. anyways, tnx for ur reply, im really hoping this time.. wish me luck!..

good luck.... and to put you at ease when i scheduled test 1 & test 2 it took about a week each time to get my ATT, so hang in there i guess it just takes time for them to process it... GOOD LUCK on the exam!

i think i didnt make it.. i had like 20 medications, 5 sata's, prioritizations, several comprehensive questionstions and my computer shut off at 75.. again... i feel that i failed this 3rd time agn...
