Taking NCLEX in July

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Finally about ready to conquer this NCLEX, just graduated in May and took Kaplan NCLEX program.....

got my Interim Permit ready to go

any suggestions for the NCLEX??? and how to PASS???

taking Kaplan study tests daily and following an 8 week testing regimen.

July 20th is the day I dread....:nurse:

Best suggestion is to follow the program to a T; do not skip questions, do not leave tests incomplete. Do it ALL. Practice matters, and Kaplan's guarantee is only good for those who do the program exactly as instructed.

There's only about 687,398 threads on this topic, LOL, so you won't need to look far for others in the same boat ;)

I am taking it on July 14th. I am using Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN 5e (yellow book), NCLEX-4000, Hurst Review and Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment 2e by Linda LaCharity. I think as I have less than 3 weeks left leading up to the exam, its best to just do NO content review and go over many NCLEX-RN questions and read each rationale. My goal is to complete at least 3000 NCLEX-RN questions by July 13th.

Good luck on the NCLEX!

I'm taking the NCLEX-RN on July 13. I have been studying the Kaplan preparation program and I completed all 1300 questions in Qbank. Now I'm doing some quizes on free apps that I found on the apple store. Every time I answer incorrectly I review the answers..I hope it helps. Good luck on the NCLEX!

Do you mind me asking what your scores were on the Q trainers?

Sure. I don't mind. Usually around 60-65%. Could I ask you for yours? I fould also this free test if you want to have a look. Free NCLEX Questions Archives - Brilliant Nurse

Same but I'm 60-63. Good news is according to Kaplan that means there is a 94% chance of passing on the first attempt.

Fingers crossed! :)
