visa/visascreen certificate
Hello everyone. I'm foreign educated nurse RN from the Czech Republic. I passed NCLEX -RN two weeks ago. I know that now I have to contact hospitals or recruiting agency to get a job.I wish to work in NYC. I would like to safe time so I was thinking if I'll apply already for a Visa screen, but I'm not sure what kind of visa I really need H1B or H1C? I don't want to apply for a greencard. Should I first contact hospital or agency and then visascreen? I appreciate your help. Thank you, Vlasta

RN
No, I'm not. I'm already in NYC. I'm preparing now for ACLS. Haha, I'm not worried about the weather, in CR it's also sometimes pretty cold. Thank you for the advice.

RN
I don't know what is better if to contact hospitals or agency. Maybe I should try both to increase the chance to get a job.

RN
Thank you for answering me. Yes, I do have an experience. I have been working for 5 years in ICU-cardiovascular surgery. Do you think is better to contact an agency or hospitals? Thank you!

RN
Hello everyone! I'm a foreign educated nurse-RN from the Czech Republic. I wish to work in the New York City. I started 1.5 year ago with the CGFNS. Actually Credential Verification Service for New York State. Then NYSED found me eligible to take the NCLEX-RN exam. I passed the NCLEX one week ago on 75 questions. Now I'm not really sure what I have to do? I found some informations on the internet that I have to go through an nursing recruiting agency or to contact the US employer. https://www.discovernursing.com/steps-for-foreign-educated-nurses#.VazwmKR_Okp So my questions is if you guys have any experience with the process or if you know a good agency? Thank you very much. I appreaciate your help.

Taking NCLEX in July
I'm taking the NCLEX-RN on July 13. I have been studying the Kaplan preparation program and I completed all 1300 questions in Qbank. Now I'm doing some quizes on free apps that I found on the apple store. Every time I answer incorrectly I review the answers..I hope it helps. Good luck on the NCLEX!

ATT for NCLEX
Thank you. Good luck for you as well. :)

ATT for NCLEX
In my view you have to pay in order to receive your ATT. I'm sorry to hear that but I don't know really how does it works with schools in the USA, because I'm foreign educated nurse. Maybe you should ask for the advice in your school.
