Taking NCLEX Jan 31st! Kaplan scores.

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey guys, I take the NCLEX on Jan 31st. I'm getting very nervous the closer that date gets! I've done the Kaplan on demand review and currently doing the questions they provided. so far my scores are...

Diagnostic: 60

QT1:68

QT2:59

QT3:66

QT4:66

QT5:66

QT6:72

Readiness:66 (so many 66's)

I have yet to take QT7 bcoz I wanted to do some Qbanks before hand and have been averaging 63% with 29% of the bank completed. Kaplan is my only review source I'm using because I don't want to end up confusing myself with other sources.

How do you guys think I'm doing? Do I have a good chance of passing NCLEX? Help! And any tips are much appreciated. Thanks.

Its great to hear that people pass with similar scores as you...I am taking qt7 tomorrow before the bid day..I am ready!!

I'm taking QT7 tomorrow too! Again, good luck on your big day! you can do it! let me know how it goes:)

Update!

just finished Qtrainer 7 and scored 66.04% :( still don't feel confident...that exam was so long and tiring. I pray I only get 75Q and pass!

You guys will be fine! I got the same scores and passes first time 75Q.

I used Kaplan, and my scores are very similar to yours. I passed NCLEX in 75q. Compared to Kaplan, NCLEX was easy! I had 10-15 SATA, 2 exhibit, 2 dosage calc, 1 image and a ton of priority!

Hey ishar!..I got 66% on qt7...we have to remain positive..we have done all that we can ...good luck to you too;)

Well...test day is this Friday. I've finished 100% of the Qbank with 68%.

Sample test 1: 72%

Sample test 2: 68%

Sample test 3: 87%

Taking Sample test 4 tomorrow. Afterwards, I will be left with no more questions to answer. I don't really want to retake the questions i got wrong in Qbank because i would already know the answer from reviewing the rationals and it wouldn't really allow me to use critical thinking to answer it. I need more passing level questions to answer. Anyone know where I can find free ones? I have 2 more days to study:( and plan to take Thursday off to just relax because my exam is at 0800 the next morning. I started Kaplan review course three weeks ago and have been studying EVERYDAY from anywhere between 10-12hrs/day. I've been reviewing the study guide that someone posted hoping it'll help. I've already studied labs and ekg's that someone suggested to study. I know that i have problems remembering the insulin stuff (i.e., onset, peak, duration), does anyone have a really good mnemonic for the different insulins. For those of you who have taken the exam already, did you find it to be more straightforward than Kaplan? I know i will never feel 100% prepared, but any additional info you can send my way would be awesome.

As you can tell from reading all this my anxiety level is through the roof! These past few days i've been so exhausted, i just wanna get this test done and over with and pass! Please keep me in your prayers it would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much and God bless:nurse:

My average was the same exact amount :). Took mine on 1/22, had 75 questions and per the Pearsonvue trick I passed. Just waiting for it to post on the BON :). Here in Cali we're lagged behind :(.

Way to handle your prep! You got this!

Sample test 4: 36% (that was so hard!! SATA and a few "put in order")

Ishar, you are more than prepared! Relax and have a nap

Your scores are too good. Definitely you can do this. My kaplan scores were between 50-60%. I took test on 24th and passed with 80 questions. Relax before the test day. I am sure, you'll pass the test. Be positive and keep confidence. Keep praying...........

Good luck:):):)

Thank you both. Will let u know how it went. God bless.

Took the NCLEX this morning at 8am..got home 1 hour after and did the PVT. I got "our records indicate...". Good pop up! but i hope its true! I prayed so much for this exam..prayed the rosary every day, prayed to Our Lady of Fatima, St. Jude, and St. Joseph of Cupertino. They've helped me so much through nursing school and in my personal life. I know that they all were with me in that examination room and i am so truly blessed. Hopefully this 'good pop up" is very true that I passed. Thank you so much to everyone from AllNurses who supported me, told me to relax, and gave me confidence..you all are truly the best! God Bless.!
