Taking NCLEX Jan 31st! Kaplan scores.

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hey guys, I take the NCLEX on Jan 31st. I'm getting very nervous the closer that date gets! I've done the Kaplan on demand review and currently doing the questions they provided. so far my scores are...

Diagnostic: 60

QT1:68

QT2:59

QT3:66

QT4:66

QT5:66

QT6:72

Readiness:66 (so many 66's)

I have yet to take QT7 bcoz I wanted to do some Qbanks before hand and have been averaging 63% with 29% of the bank completed. Kaplan is my only review source I'm using because I don't want to end up confusing myself with other sources.

How do you guys think I'm doing? Do I have a good chance of passing NCLEX? Help! And any tips are much appreciated. Thanks.

Do QT 7 (It's 265 q long) and make sure all your videos are watched so that you are all set for your guarantee and you'll be good.

I did the full Kaplan course and passed in 75 q this week.

Honestly, I can't verify how much Kaplan helped. I think because I answered so many questions right in the beginning (and really, those answers were pretty obvious), it took the difficulty level of my questions to a much higher level such that the types of questions I was getting I felt completely unprepared for. They were mostly frank content. I had gone over the content that Kaplan goes over but some of it I was pulling out from my memory from when it was covered back in Med-Surg 2. The extent of the content that was on the NCLEX surpassed the extent of content review that Kaplan covers. So read up on any topics that are unfamiliar to you that Kaplan didn't go over.

I used kaplan and took the NCLEX a few weeks ago and passed with 75. Your scores look good. Just keep reviewing rationales. And do as much of the qbank as you can. Know your labs and ekg's.

Wow, I will most definitely finish watching the videos. Kaplan asked about things I don't even know about so I always have to look it up when I review the questions. Thank you so much! And congrats RN!!
