  1. Is there anyway you can go to school and work? I'm currently doing my BSN online and I'm going to start working in a few weeks.
  2. Your scores are good, make sure you are reviewing the rationales and understanding the answers. Good luck!
  3. Pearson provides headphones/ear plugs. I was able to wear a light sweater, we were told to keep jackets outside the testing room. They have a locker outside of the testing room, which they give you a lock for. You can take breaks whenever you want, they don't have to be scheduled. Snacks/drinks are fine you keep them in your locker. For my breaks I just drank juice and brought candy with me. Good luck!
  4. Yes that is the good pop up congrats! Congrats flaca!!
  5. Yes keep thinking positive and praying! Those Qtrainers are tough. Qtrainer 7 is 265 questions so just pace yourself. If you feel that you are rushing to get to the next question take a break. On my first try I rushed through the questions, that really hurt me. Don't stress out about it. Take you time with each question. Look at each of the answers. I honestly thought Kaplan helped increase my critical thinking. So as long as you have done lots of questions and understood the answers you should do well.
  6. You are never going to feel ready for the test. If you have been studying, going over the rationales for the kaplan questions and making sure you understand them you should do well. Be confident. Go early to the testing site, make sure you print the ATT before your testing date. Take breaks, bring snacks. I took a break every 30 questions. Just take your time with each question. I failed my first try in August, passed my second try. I was nervous like you are. Like I said before no one feels ready for the Nclex. Relax the day before your test. Good luck!
  7. I agree with the PP. Find a new church. I've been going to church from a young age and have never heard anything like that. Don't apologize. Find a new church, talk to a therapist. If you love nursing and your a safe nurse. No one can tell you that nursing isn't for you.
  8. It looks like you have been studying a lot. I'm a second time tester as well. I was nervous before my test. You should relax, go out with a friend. I spent the day before catching up on tv shows that I missed. No one feels ready before the test, so just relax Good luck!
  9. Like other posters have said, go over the weak sections when the candidate report comes in. Do as many questions as you can. Understand the rationales. Make a schedule and stick to it. I used Hurst for content and studied one section a day. I later used the saunders cd and tested myself on the section I learned. Good luck!
  10. I used both Kaplan and Hurst. If you feel that you are weak in content then Hurst is great. I felt that after doing all the Kaplan questions it increased my critical thinking which helped me greatly in the NCLEX. I suggest going over 1-2 chapters of Hurst a day and do questions over those topics that you studied.. Good luck!
  11. I think it took about 10 days for the BON to post it.
  12. Yeah I couldn't wait, I had to do the quick results. I'm sure you passed if you had the good pop up.
  13. I called the TX BON after my test, they say it takes 10-15 days for them to update it.
  14. Yeah just keep reviewing it, it was cardio ekg's. Good luck!
  15. I had three EKG questions, so know your EKG's and the medications you would give for them. I didn't have any questions regarding lung sounds.
