Nursing Students NCLEX

I am about to take my exam this nov. 16 and i am soooo scared.i have studied for almost 2 months and i still feel that i am not ready. everytime i take a new practice test i am faced with new topics that i have no clue what it is. I took my kaplan readiness test and i got 67% but i am so scared. Did the nclex this 2009 have more meds, sata or infection control? please give me some clue to what to expect. thanx....

I forgot one thing... please, ya'll come back and tell the community how you did on the test.

Thanks....

Hi everyone. i just finished taking my boards for the RN and im in tears typing this! I guess i'm just trying to get rid of the stress and anxiety I accumulated during the exam. Anyhows, i actually just finished and not quite sure what to say! Sure enough, topics that I was weak at did show up more so than others. I tried not to focus on that issue so I kept going. I prayed and prayed in hopes that the computer will continue to let keep going, especially if I passed the 75 mark. I had about 20 questions left, maybe around 240 something when the computer shut off. I'm not going to analyze what went wrong or anything, nor will I ponder about whether I pass or not. It's been a journey studying for the boards. I just wanted to say good luck to those who are still taking their test this month. I can only hope and pray that I prepared myself well enough to pass. Thanks to all those who have been very supportive of those who haven't passed. This is my 3rd time taking this test and I can only hope and pray for the best.

Thanks to you all.

Give yourself a hug!! You have come this far. Please congradtulate yourself for getting this far.....

Good luck to all test takers.

hey guys.. good luck to everyone.. tomorrow's the last day of nov.. hopefully everybody had a good month just like i did.. =)

I took it in Nov.12th,i failed after 89 questions,i had six near the passing standards and two below the passing standards.I felt so bad,but i am over it now,i just have to study harder.I am using Exam cram,Kaplan book and Nclex 3500 online, and up for it again in late Dec 2009.

hi everyone.. i tested today.. got a lot of prioritization, just 1 med calculation.. 8-10 SATAs.. alot of staff education.. meds i didnt know (well i guess im not the first one).. i took the break the computer offered me after 2 hours.. i was in question no. 80.. i went back after walking a little and covincing myself i was still in the game since the computer have not shut off yet.. i even asked for a new writing board.. i sat down and started answering again.. then after a couple more questions.. the computer shut off.. i was shocked but a bit relieved that the test is behind me now.. i actually dont know what to think.. i hope i pass (as every test taker does) but i certainly could not tell.. i guess the waiting game begins.. goodluck to everyone scheduled to take the test.. just breathe.. i kept reminding myself to do that.. :heartbeat

Did you do the PVT, sis? If you haven't, do it. Don't be scared. The anxiety of knowing how you did on your exam will drive you nuts. Good Luck! Praying for a good pop-up.:yeah:
