Take my NCLEX tomorrow... Any last minute advice???

Published

The day is officially here! I have tried to do last minutes test and quizez but just feel as my brain is exhausted. I plan to go to Red Lobster for dinner as I heard fish is perfect " brain food " after dinner, I have scheduled a massage that is supposed to be relaxing.... And plan to get to bed early so I can arrive to my test center a hour befor my test to review last minute labs and equations .... And last but not least send all my close family and friends a message to keep me in their prayers tomorrow morning.

Honestly feel as if I have put in a lot of hard work for several months ;

saunders read from front to back

several hours of review Q&A

I have my LVN title visualized by my name and keep telling myself my hard work will pay off

Please keep me in your prayers tomorrow !!!

Thanks !

The best thing you can do between now andtesting is relax. Yes mandatory rest and relaxation R&R. Budget in 8-9 hrs for sleep as undoubtly you will be having difficulty sleeping due to anxiety, etc and etc, so when you do drop off for a few hours its time to wake up. NO studying! why? you've learned everything there is to memorize and let the brain rest so it can perform at its best tomorrow when it counts. Uh no studying on day of exam , this is it sleep and wake up, eat a ligth meal before exam, bring water, snacks, do not bring cell into room, don't even touch phone even when on break (dun want to be accused of cheating), stay at testing center in line of recpetionist even on break.

GOOD LUCK!!

I agree with the previous person. Relax your brain. I took the NCLEX on June 28th. I did not study the night before the exam nor did I on exam day. You have been through so much schooling and have gained quite a bit of knowledge. You have already studied, so spend the time before the exam relaxing your brain and remaining confident in yourself.

Also, on the day of the exam I did not pick up my cell phone. I did not talk to anyone and remained in my "zone". I had a two hour drive to the testing center though, so I listened to the radio which helped settle my nerves. Also, make sure you eat a good breakfast with protein. I wish you the best of luck!

Relax!!! Take your time and don't panic! GOOD LUCK!!!

Good luck, let us know how it goes. You got this. DON'T read too much into any question, take them at face value, and go with your gut....

just got the letter saying that "I PASSED " WoooHoooo

Thank you for everyone's support !!!

Yay!!! Congrats!!!

Thanks ! My check is in the mail can't wait for my name to appear on "the LIST " or to recieve my actual license !!!

Feels GREAT !
