Same here, back to normal with a random flu-like illness thrown in the mix. I am predicting a second wave between Thanksgiving and Christmas when everyone either travels to go see family or has family come to see them. Nothing like a holiday to promote the cross-geographical sharing of germs!

Same here, but I hate to say anything for fear of Murphy's Law!! Just a couple students here, couple there. This week's biggest ailment is tummy troubles-- lots of pain and nausea, but no real symptoms past that.

I'm not going to relax too much-- I know the next wave is coming.....

I agree with Purple...think I'm going to see an increase between Turkey day and Christmas and then after New Year. Frightenly enough, alot of our families travel to Mexico to see family. We'll see!

We haven't seen much in our school yet. Have had quite a few kids trying to go home because, "I know I got the swine" but only a few confirmed cases.

Every week the National Association of School Nurses conducts a quick poll of what is going on with school nurses.

This week's quick poll is about whether school nurses have rec'd H1N1 vaccine or not per HSS Sec. Kathleen Sebelius conference call with professional organizations yesterday.

The Borough of Queens paper is electing by popular vote the Person of the Year. Mary Pappas, the St. Francis Prep School Nurse who detected the first H1N1 outbreak, is running against 4 candidates, one of them Mayor Boomberg. Help catapult Mary to the top of the poll!!!

Log-on and cast your vote for her!
