Swedish Resident Registered Nurse Program Summer 2016

I have been waiting for the application to open up and when I searched today there it was! Submitted my application and now it's a waiting game.. Would like to stay in touch with other people in the same boat as me for the Summer 2016 cohort, so is anyone else out there applying or have you gone through the process and have any advice? So exciting! :)

I wanted to comment on this board bc I feel like it's gone a little quiet...please know this is the same post I wrote on the UWMC/Swedish residency :

I have talked to a Swedish recruiter and she said that the hiring managers are slowly but surely screening candidates. If you haven't been contacted yet it may be because you are still in the pool to be reviewed. I spoke to her at the beginning of this week.

We got this guys! We just have to remain patient and cross our fingers.

My top pick is CVICU.

Hi All! I have a question.

I have a phone interview next week. When I filled out my application for Swedish, when asked about preferred units, it listed Telemetry, Intermediate Care Unit, and Progressive Care unit. Can anyone tell me the difference between these three units specifically to Swedish? I know Swedish has at least the same staffing as here in California, and our ratios are Telemetry 1:4 and Step Down 1:3. So... are IMCU and PCU both the same as step down? Sorry if this is a stupid question, just curious in terms of picking my top choice units.

Also, any advice or tips on the interview process would be much appreciated!!!
