I have been waiting for the application to open up and when I searched today there it was! Submitted my application and now it's a waiting game.. Would like to stay in touch with other people in the same boat as me for the Summer 2016 cohort, so is anyone else out there applying or have you gone through the process and have any advice? So exciting! :)

I applied for that too! Swedish just called me this morning when I woke up and I'm schedule for a 30 minute phone interview with their HR this Wednesday. I heard that they ask a lot of behavior questions, but I'm not sure if thats the HR portion. Hope you get a call soon!
How exciting, best of luck to you!! When did you apply? And what department did you put as #1 on the application? I haven't heard back yet :/
I applied the night they posted the position, so I'm thinking last week Tuesday? I chose ER as my first choice, but if they ask if I could work in another department I'll definitely take that. They should be contacting you soon, two of my other classmates got a call today also.
They did! My interview is set up for next week! So exciting:)

Hello, I have also applied to the summer 2016 cohort. Congratulations for getting an interview! I hope it goes well. You too aznooby! I will be having my phone interview in two weeks. I am so nervous! Do you guys anything about the exact dates it's supposed to start?
I have looked at previous threads about swedish interview/panel questions and it does seem to be geared towards behavioral questions.
What department did you pick??
I'll ask the start date today when they call me (omg in an hour). I'll let you guys know how it goes!
Good luck!!!!!!!!!
Just finished! Definitely was nervous as hell. The interview took almost 20 minutes and she only asked for one unit that I'm interested in. Questions: Why Swedish? Why Nursing? Why the unit you chose for? What makes someone the prime choice to work that unit? Any leadership experience? What was your most favorite clinical?
She told me that the position is for August and that there is no set date yet since the managers need to get together. They will get back to me in mid-March if I get the next interview. Also, they look at your volunteer, clinical, leadership experiences, and your academics as well.
Good luck to both you guys! Let me know how you guys do :)
Wow! Thank you so much for all of your helpful tips! Best of luck to you both :) I'm already nervous and still have almost a week until my interview as this will be my first nursing interview!
I just received an email from them and they told me that June 6 is the start date only for Labor and Delivery/postpartum and then the others will start either August 1 or October 24, all of which the application is open for now.
Oh nice! I think October would be much better for me because Hawaii takes a while to transfer license.
