Thanks so much @suburbiafeelsu.. Bummer that I didnt get offered a position. 50-60 new nurses is quite a lot. Would have been nice if I got offered a position. I was thinking of trying out again for the February cohort but not sure if its worth the risk. Maybe the other residency will be a better fit for me. Who knows, I might transfer to Swedish eventually hehe

Hey @ZAR963! How many were accepted for this cohort? Unfortunately, I never heard back from them. Anyways, I'll just do the other residency program that accepted me although Swedish was my preference.

@suburbiafeels @ZAR963 So happy for you both! I still haven't heard anything from the recruiter today. No email or phone call. I'll be moving to Washington no matter what as my nurse residency will start in November for the other hospital that accepted me. Will keep in touch!

@ZAR They've been very slow with the hiring process. I've been in contact with them since July that's why I'll be disappointed if I dont get a job offer from Swedish haha. Hoping that I'll get at least an answer by Monday or something since they're not moving the start date of October 24. For the other hospital that offered me the residency, they'll start about 2nd week of November. Best of luck to you! Kinda bummed that we're not on the same residency cohort since we've been in contact since July I think haha

Hello ZAR963, Did they tell you if they're extending the start date of the Fall cohort? Or is it still October 24? I'm very happy for you that at least you got an offer from Swedish. I'm hoping they'd give the General Surgical residency position. I'm sad if they dont. But if not, I have the residency offer from another hospital waiting for me.

@suburbia Yes its a nurse residency position at a renal unit. I got an offer 5 hours after I had the interview for that hospital. Good luck with your upcoming phone interview. Are u from out of state?

Hello suburbiafeelsu, I haven't heard anything from my interview for General surgical either. No email or phone call so Im still waiting. Its been over 4 weeks since my last panel interview. I emailed the recruiter and she said that they're still deciding! This whole wait has been kind of stressful. I have a residency offer for another hospital but still waiting for Swedish and see if they have an offer for me. If not, i'll accept the other hospital's offer.
