Swedish Medical Center Residency 2015

Hi...Has anyone seen a posting about Swedish's Residency program for the July/August 2015 cohorts? I would think that they would be posted around now, but I haven't seen any.

Just got a call today from Swedish and got a job offer for the Nov cohort start date

Nice!! What floor/specialty were you hired into? I just applied last week so I'm still waiting to hear back.

Thank you. I was surprised. I didn't think I did so well on the phone interview. I had forgot all about the interview. It is my dream dept in my dream city. So I am pretty stoked

Hey paintmegray ! Congrats on the job offer! May I ask, how long did you wait from the phone interview til you got an in person interview?

I did not have an in person interview. I love out of state so everything was done on the phone. I had an Interview in July with HR, who told me she wanted to move on in the process and interview with the manager or the floor. I ended up having a interview with 4 nurses, like a panel interview on the phone, and then right after I had another interview via phone with the floor manager and I believe the program coordinator (? Dont recall). Two days later I received a call with a job offer.

Yes I was i(n the initial HR interview)

Congrats! I told HR I was willing to come to Seattle for an interview and she said the managers would be getting ahold of me in the beginning of September to schedule in-person interviews.

how tough was the panel interview? what would you advice us? Also is it possible if you make it to the second round to not be accepted during the in person interview?

The panel wasn't bad. All behavioral questions. They asked a question at a time while i was on speaker, conference style. They told me that they prefer in person interviews, however, when they called me to schedule the second interview they said since I was out of state they would do it via phone
