I actually got a pretty quick call to schedule an interview with a recruiter; within 2-3 days. I was shocked at the turn around time when I saw that some of the cohorts don't start until November. However, I opted to accept a residency closer to home that started sooner. Good luck!!

Which unit did you get a interview for, if you don't mind me asking?

No problem! I only made it as far as the offer to interview with the recruiter, and the instruction email confirming my appointment stated that I would need to identify two units I was interested in during the interview. In my initial application and cover letter, I had expressed interest in NICU or OR. I wish you the best with it. I'm on the East side of the State and am just preparing to start an OR residency, so it all worked out for the best. :)

That is great! Is this a general interview or for a specific department?

I still have not heard anything, but I think I answered some of the application questions wrong. I got that fixed today, so hopefully I will hear soon.
