If I voluntarily suspend my rn license in one state but am licensed in other states can those licenses be affected?

By suspend, I assume you mean to place in an inactive status. I don't see why there should be a problem. There is normally only a problem when your license gets adverse actions against it, such as revocation. Revocation in one state will eventually lead to consideration for revocation in other states. You are required to report negative actions to each state where you hold a current license. Inactive status should be benign. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on this. But, then, you should check with each state to see what their policies are.

Depends. If you voluntarily suspended your license to put in an inactive status due to moving, not having enough CEU's tired of paying renewal fees each year for a licnese you are not actively using,....then not much fo an issue with other states as there was no pending negative action.

If you voluntarily suspended your license to avoid prosecution or investigation the situation very different. Any potential negative action against your license (even if you voluntarily suspended before formal board action) must be reported to any other licensing body that you have a current, active, or inactive license (sometimes not just nursing, if you had a paramedic or EMT certiicate or license for example, you have to self-report). Failure to report will result in a negative outcome if the board finds out through other means, which could result in involuntary suspension, revoked license, and/or fines & fees.
