Has anyone else applied for Spring 2015? I sent in my application/transcripts about a month ago. I spoke to a guy in admissions yesterday, he told me in about 2 weeks letters will be going out saying to schedule interviews directly with the nursing department. After all the interviews, the nursing department will chose 50 students and acceptance letters would be going out around Dec. 1st. Does anyone know how many students typically apply to this program?
Kelseyannemcd, I took it on the comp too. I thought it was great cause I got my score 2 hours after I finished the test. My friend had taken a paper test in Westchester and she had to wait almost a week to get her scores. 75 is still great as like you said you're above average. I didn't know the average TEAS was 70, that's a few point higher than NCC which is what I expected.
Nicki12, I can't remember all the questions, they had asked me maybe 10-15. But a few were "where do you see yourself in 2 years", "will you be working when attending", "what are your study habits", "what kind of experiences have you had with nurses in your past". I hope this helps, when is your interview?
