Hi everyone, I got my acceptance letter to Downstate's FNP fall 2017 program. I'm on the fence about Downstate since my whole application process was difficult and I'm now unsure about the school and how they operate as a whole. I wanted to ask everyone if Downstate was your first choice and why do you want to go here to study? Thanks!

Hi, I came across this thread because I recently submitted my application for Downstate's FNP program. Can you please give me some insight about your experience in the program so far? How many days a week do you have classes?

The reason I choose Downstate was because how affordable it is. Tuition is about 3,000 a semester. Can't beat that!

I am looking into FNP programs in NY and am interested in knowing more about SUNY Downstate. In particular, does anyone know if they provide clinical placements for you or do they leave you on your own? The price is a selling point but I would like to know what everyone thinks of the program, quality, professors, clinicals, etc.
