Hello everyone I decided to become a respiratory therapist because nursing is not my passion anymore. I withdrew my application from the waitlist so hopefully that will make the waist-list smaller. @BeABearcat You got accepted to the BAT program?

Are you going to Drexel? If you are when? I only want to go to schools in NY because I am from NY.

@Trinnn When you was waitlisted did you have any back up just in case Bing don't accept?

@ladypeaches4 When you first got waitlisted did you lose hope? Did you applied to other nursing schools for back up? What did you do to relieve your stress from being waitlisted, because this is driving me crazy so far I have no backup because all the schools rejected me expect for Bing and I am trying to stay positive but it is hard.

@Trinnn When did you apply to Binghamton University? I applied November 20th maybe that will decrease my chances of getting in. What day did they told you that you had been waitlisted?

@Trinnn do you know anyone that got accept from the waitlist in March or you the only one so far? Have you spoken to people that got accepted and decided to not come to the program?

You know how many people will be in the program?

Around what time did they call you? Who spoke to you the admission counselor or someone that works at the nursing department? Before they accepted you did you call them telling them how much you really want to attend the school?

In your cohort did a lot of people got pick from the waitlist? Do you know anyone that had a 3.2 gpa that got accepted from the waitlist?

@Trinnn I am so scared to get rejected because Bing is the only school I am waiting for all the schools I applied to rejected me.

My gpa is a 3.2 and my prereq gpa is a 3.4. I feel like I don't have no chance because my grades are not that high and in most cases it is very hard to get pick from the waitlist. Around what time they call you? They even told me that they will accept or deny people off the waitlist through email everything is done through email. When I call them I told them if I could get a respond earlier than April and they said that they can'not accept people in March because they want to wait until everyone put down their deposit after April 1st.

Congratulations! I am happy for you I wish that could be me. What is your stats like your GPA and your pre-req GPA? Do you have any experiences working at the hospital? I am surprise that they accept you out of the waitlist because they told all waitlist applicants that they would start accepting them between April 1st to May 15th. It is surprising that they chose you around March because when I call them they made it clear that will start accepting people after April 1st not in March.

For the people that got waitlisted what is your stat and how many pre-reqs do you have left?

I got waitlisted I am upset because this is the only school that I applied to and if I don't get accepted from the waitlist then I will have to wait a whole year to get back to nursing school. Do a lot of people get accepted off the waitlist?
