  1. It takes some adjusting but it will all hable sense. I personally feel everything came together when I was in clinicals . You can't expect to be an expert and having to be comfortable with being a novice fnp. There is no way that you will leave any program feeling completely competent in your new role. F0r you to do this you have to gain experience.
  2. @missashleyrt you can find me on Facebook ariana aquino
  3. @floatrn29 the program is coming along... majority is self taught. Initially it will be hard to adjust but you will get the hang of it. Congrats on getting in!
  4. @sashaj017 I have done 2 medical trips. One was with Gold Coast Medical Foundation (We went to Ghana) and the other, which I highly recommend was FIMRC (went to El Salvador). I know Washington height Corner Project is always looking for volunteers. Good luck!
  5. @E1024 they expect you to find your own clinical site. If you struggle to find one they will try and help but they will not guarantee that it will be close to you. The professors are OK. Majority of the program is self taught but doable. Professors are not typically good at replying to emails. The program is constantly changing and seems unorganized at times. Overall, considering the cost, I think the program is OK.
  6. The reason I choose Downstate was because how affordable it is. Tuition is about 3,000 a semester. Can't beat that!
  7. Hi Skaur I am a BAT graduate. When I applied they had their own application. I attempted to find it online for you and did not. You are better off trying to reach out to the school directly. Good luck with everything!
  8. message me your Facebook name. i can add you to this group
  9. @zlyttl i have my lab coat with the Binghamton logo for $20
  10. @vegaa7500 there is no cut off date to be accepted from the waitlist. There are people in my cohort that got accepted a week before the program started. If I were you I would shoot an email to the school expressing your interest in the program again. A little reminder never hurts. Dont be discouraged. It isnt over until the first day of class. Wishing you luck!
  11. @mochanurse congrats!!!! Check your private messages
  12. @aeriedust ohhhh. If you can see the message then Ill private message you my email address.
  13. @aeriedust I sent you a private message
  14. @mochanurse yeah I'm sorry I meant a thank you email. But you could also write a follow up email. I did that for another school and got in shortly after reaching out to them. The email mentioned my continued interest in the school. Why I wanted to go to the school and the reasons I am a strong candidate. I would write in to the people you had an interview with and/or graduate admissions
  15. @mochanurse Did you write a follow up email? Try that. I wrote one right after my interview
