I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2020. This is my second time applying. I waited till the very last day of the deadline to submit my application last year (I knowww) since I had taken the TEAS and had just gotten the results. However, I've already submitted my application for the upcoming year and hope to get a call for an interview. Looking forward to chatting with you all.
Sidenote: I really like the upgrade they did to the online application. So much more user-friendly.
I did- I received an email yesterday morning that a decision was available and through that email and correspondence within the admissions portal, I found out that I was accepted. I'm feeling incredibly grateful and humbled.
I didn't see anyone else post about receiving a decision so I hope this will give other applicants an indication that the program is working through applications. I'm pulling for everyone in this forum.

To anyone who has submitted their fall grades..all of mine are finally in. To whom and where can I submit the rest of my transcript to?
I submitted mine via the "Document Upload" section of the application form and then sent an email to the Admissions Office to confirm that they received it. They got back to me relatively quickly, but there appeared to be some sort of trouble accessing the document I submitted, so we had some correspondence about that.

I was just accepted myself! I want to get a group started for next year’s class, but it’s my first day back at work after the holidays and there’s a lot of pre-matriculation stuff to take care of! I’ll talk to you all soon!
Congrats to everyone who got accepted!! I know it was a dreadful wait. Any tips on the writing portion? Did you have to type your essay in a short amount of time? Just trying to think ahead here. Thank you.
Congrats, all! Could someone pls shine light on what to expect on the interview? Also, for those admitted, what are your stats like? I just saw the app deadline was extended again to Jan 3. ?
