  1. Thanks! Yes I had an interview last Thursday. I applied last year but my application was completed just before the Feb 1 deadline. No insight into why I had to interview.
  2. I just got my acceptance email too! I am so happy ?
  3. Sounds like you need to send in your official transcript to NursingCas. If you entered Micro as a prerequisite into NursingCas without an official transcript for them to verify the grade it will put the application in sort of a pending status and they will not send it in as completed to the school. You might want to email their support team to confirm your status.
  4. I found out that I needed to send in an updated transcript last minute since my prerequisites for Fall 2018 wasn’t showing their grades for some reason. A technical glitch. Then the application was finally marked as “verified” which in NursingCas lingo meant it was complete (according to their support team). The individual items you submitted should all say ”complete” when you look at them in the expanded view. Hope that helps.
  5. Hi @queenslimmm my application wasn’t marked complete on NursingCas until literally just prior to the Feb 1 deadline. I got the interview invite April 6.
  6. LOL @sha17 I agree. It’s my belief that attitude can make or break an experience and frustration tolerance differs with each person. Best of luck to you on your interview!
  7. Whew! Just finished reading this thread ? T’was a nail biter. I have a zoom interview with PSON tomorrow. Wish me luck!
  8. Congratulations! The same happened to me except no forms were sent. So I guess I am still an alternate at this time. Smh.
  9. I was just told only earlier today via email I was accepted into their general nursing program and I can pay the deposit and register. This only after pointing out that my "missing" transcript was sent since last July! Now I am supposed to decide to register and pay a deposit for classes (that started today). Nothing has been detailed to me as far as what is supposed to be taken each semester, my clinical schedule options and not to mention what this is really gonna cost me. How am I supposed to make an informed decision? Nobody has sent a single correspondence about my status since I applied last summer until last week. This is a real turn off. I'm only considering it since I haven't heard back from my first choice school.
  10. Good luck with your interview @poisonjade!
  11. Okay, folks, so I just spoke with admissions and my application is good to go with the syllabus I uploaded. Still not confident about my chances but it is in his hands now. So here's the tea on the program right now. They have 80 spots to fill and they've already filled about a quarter I was told. This is most likely why the deadline was extended so they can receive more applications as well as give everyone a chance to complete their applications with missing requirements. Not sure how many applications they have received so far. He couldn't give me a timeline on notifications of admission or rejections.
  12. @Sushi G Thanks for saying this. I haven’t visited their office to speak one on one other than a transcript review a couple years ago and just wasn’t sure how their administrators take to visits. Especially when they say to email on their site. I may just make a visit then.
  13. @NurseDan thanks for the advice and link, I will check it out.
  14. No I haven’t tried that. Not sure if that would be appropriate.
