Hi guys! So I just submitted my fall grades that they originally placed my application on hold for. SUPER nervous to see what they say. How were you guys alerted about your acceptance? Did you guys receive an email right away?

It's an email that tells you your decision is ready, and then you need to login to your application and there's a link to follow from there to your acceptance letter. It was a really nerve wracking 45 seconds it took to figure out what the decision was!

Hi everyone! I was just accepted to downstates accelerated nursing program as well!! I am super excited. I am coming from upstate ny and need to figure out housing. I was wondering if you guys planned to live on campus or off campus? & if you are familiar with the area where is a nice place to live off campus? Any help is appreciated!!!

Okay guys, my status finally changed to "Screening in process" :) ! Did anyone have that status at any point? And if so, how long after that did you hear from the school with a decision?

I never noticed my status change before I got my decision and I checked almost every day!

How do you know orientation is the 30th? I noticed the academic calendar they linked too is last years and it started on the 5th, so I assumed this year would be the 6th (first Monday in June)

I never noticed my status change either, it was "File return to comm rev." when I got accepted. And I don't know when's the orientation or first day of classes, either.

Anyone have a check next to their college transcripts on the checklist yet?

In the link that was sent regarding all the things needed (background check, financial aid, etc.) it shows date of orientation at the bottom but I will check again to be sure its the right year, lol. @kookii I didn't have any checks by transcripts even though I requested all of them be sent already (I have 4 different ones).

Im also taking Microbio at Suffolk! I feel like it would be easier than taking the same course at Stony Brook
