Hi there!

Haven't seen any forums yet on the SUNY Downstate ABSN 2017-2018 class. Has anyone applied?? Or heard from them already?

I just got my acceptance letter. So figure 3 week turn around not that bad on the wait.

@Encoremb, congrats! Was your application complete by Nov 30? Including prereqs, letters of recs and TEAS scores etc? Just wondering when I'll get a decision. My application was complete by Dec 2.

@kooki my application is still not complete.

I have yet to submit A&p2 and anthropology from this semester, as well as stats from next semester. Teas i took at the end of Nov, so i sent the scores after my application. Letters were submitted long before.

Congrats everyone! Still waiting on mine, everything checked out and they emailed me saying now they just need my grades for this semester. So just waiting on getting those in the next few days and hopefully I hear some good news.

Wow that was a quick turnaround, congratulations! It seems everyone else waited about 3 months. My application was final after my teas in October. Still haven't heard anything

I'm wondering the same thing :( I'm nervous because I have a relatively low undergrad gpa. My pre requisite grades are much better and I have a good teas score and some working experience...hope my gpa doesn't ruin my chances!

I don't think anyone should get nervous. I'm a male applicant in a female dominated field. My friend (female) from last year's cohort said that the bulk of them got letters in Feb, while the guys got accepted in Jan.

Obviously the timing may be different this year, but don't throw the towel in anytime soon. Only 3- 4 people were accepted here so far!
