Hey ,

I am applying . I just need to take the test but I am confused are we taking ATI TEAS V OR VI?

they overhauled the test last August. Now u may use a calc on the math part, as well as some other changes. I believe it's called the Teas 6 now. beware there are mistakes to be found in the book.

@drop491. I had a similar GPA and was discouraged as well, but did very well on the TEAS and had some work experience and was accepted. Waiting is the worst part

Hey @wxyz2017 from what I've read via this massive thread people started to hear back around early dec... I applied for 2018-2019 in sept. Still waiting.....

For those that applied last cycle did you have all the preqs in? I am just missing developmental psy, Nutrition and Sociology class will that cause an issue ?

@wxyz2017 i live around the school.... it has some ups and downs. Usually safe during the day no worse then the city.. weekend nights can get rowdy.

HI All,

I am hoping to apply next year to SUNY's ABSN program. I work full time and have young children. So although I am fitting in pre-reqs at night, I don't have time to volunteer at a hospital as well. Do you know if they require medical experience to be accepted? Thanks so much!

You do not need any medical experience to get accepted into the program. It might give you an edge in the application process but nothing more.

As far as pre-reqs go, I was accepted in Dec of last year with all of my sciences completed, and only stats, dev psych and anthropology to be competed
