Hi everyone! I am new to All Nurses but I've noticed that no one has started a thread for the SUNY Downstate June 2012 ABSN program (or maybe I just didnt see it). Is anyone out there applying for it????:):)

Do they send letters of rejection or is it a "silent rejection" ?

I believe they send rejection letters. I hope we start hearing back from them soon :-/

I also applied and they received my application on 11/15 and transferred my application to the Nursing Committee on 11/21 (they said it on the online checklist). Still waiting for a letter, but really scared. Didn't do that great in college but took my pre-req GPA is 4.0 and my TEAS-V grades were really great. Do you think I can still get in?

I think you have a GREAT chance! My app was forwarded the same day and I haven't heard anything yet either.

Does anyone received a verification of bachelors degree in the ChekList ?

I called them today and they said that there is no specific day or even month by which they will send letters.

I did receive verification right away..right after I sent them the transcript in November. They did take forever to update my final transcript from another school that I sent in right after Christmas. They just updated it on Tuesday.

Thanks for letting us know what they said. I keep stalking my mailman everyday hoping that the letter will be there.
