Hi everyone! I am new to All Nurses but I've noticed that no one has started a thread for the SUNY Downstate June 2012 ABSN program (or maybe I just didnt see it). Is anyone out there applying for it????:):)

I looked at the Downstate posts from last year and it looks like the first round of acceptances were received around Feb 1. Hopefully its the same this year!

I called them the other day because my final transcript was never checked off 3 week after I sent it in and they told me they are so swamped that they are behind. I also figured I would ask about decisions and she said its done on a rolling basis, so basically whenever we hear, we hear!

I figured they'd be swamped. When were you alerted that your application was forwarded to The School of Nursing?

It was forwarded on 11/21. The only outstanding thing I have that they asked for was my final transcript and my micro grade. I sent it a few weeks ago. And now that I am done with classes I am just sitting here WAITING to hear something..haha!

Good! Well hopefully you should be hearing a response soon. I have to send in my transcript for a Wintersession class that I took, so I may have a longer wait since the class just ended.

Nope..I'm in Suffolk County...so I have a bit of a commute ahead of me for Downstate. Are you in NYC?
