SUNY Brockport ABSN 2021-2022

Hey everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for this cycle's ABSN program at Brockport that's starting next Summer 2021. It's been tough getting in touch with the program director this Summer (understandably so, this year has been bonkers!) and I figured this thread could be a good place to talk about the program and post questions that others might be able to answer! It's still early in the game but I thought it'd be a good idea nonetheless to have it up and ready to go ?

Me neither. No updates or news yet at all. According to past years' threads, acceptances started going out ~Oct 24 last year and I think ~Nov 1 or so the year prior. I wonder if we'll be hearing soon as well! Anyone speak to the program director recently??

I just received an email about the Application Status Portal being ready. My heart skipped a beat thinking an admissions decision might be on there! But nope, nothing yet. It just says they’ve received all my transcripts. It also says “Awaiting ABSN Secondary Application” but I submitted that mid-September and got a email receipt after it was submitted. Anyone else in the same boat??

I got the same email but my status checker says that they received my ABSN Secondary Application. Maybe contact the admissions counselor listed on your portal?

I checked my email and didn't see it BUT it was just in the "other" folder ? My status checker says everything is submitted except one college transcript that I ordered a while back. I'm gonna call the listed admissions officer about it

It now says received, yay! I guess they just hadn't fully updated everything yet yesterday when I checked. It also had said "Awaiting" for an SAT score report but now that's gone as well thankfully. Thought I'd have to resurrect my 10-year-old SAT scores!

If you call Undergraduate Admissions, they'll be able to help you track it down if it's somewhere in the office. I had to send 5 transcripts and I was literally that annoying person calling every week to check that they got everything safe and sound, but they were always super nice and so helpful! I'd definitely recommend giving them a call first!
