SUNY Brockport ABSN 2021-2022

Hey everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for this cycle's ABSN program at Brockport that's starting next Summer 2021. It's been tough getting in touch with the program director this Summer (understandably so, this year has been bonkers!) and I figured this thread could be a good place to talk about the program and post questions that others might be able to answer! It's still early in the game but I thought it'd be a good idea nonetheless to have it up and ready to go ?

@aspiring NP     You don’t need the banner number since admissions still processing the SUNY applications.  When completing the Nursing Department application in their website, you  do not have to put banner number just click  on ‘continue’  and you will be able to fill out the application and submit the essay and resume. Hope this helps!

I am so confused, how exactly do we access the application? can you share the link of the exact page, please?  When I click https://forms.brockport.edu/view.php?id=3389767 applySUNY has nothing and under that it only has a save and resume later button.

Below the option  “save my progress and resume later”  it says “continue” click on that and fill out the form and always click “continue”

Yes, thats what I did, but after "continue", all it say is 

our progress has been saved.

Check on the box that says “I certify ....... etc” proceed to fill out the form with your name, address etc ... IGNORE “banner id” and proceed to click on “continue”.

Can you please give me the essay prompt so I can get started while they will fix the issue for me? thanks!

You have to check the box “I certify that...”, then put your name etc, IGNORE banner ID, DO NOT CHECK “save my progress and resume later” instead, click on “continue”

Do this: save the link that they gave you in a word doc . Copy and paste the link  into a new window and try again. I think that should work. They ask for 2 pages personal statement about  your academic and career goals and what motivated  you to  pursue nursing as a career. 1 inch margins, double spaced, times new roman.

I did what you said but all it did was redirect me back to the same place ? but I'll better get started on the essay, thanks for your help!

I know what you saying, it’s confusing but when they redirect you back and you click “continue” it should take you to the next page of the form, that’s what happened to me. Try again using the link they gave you. If you can’t figure it out, you should call admissions tomorrow and explain them the issue, they should be able to help you. Don’t wait! The deadline is next week.
