SUNY Brockport ABSN 2021-2022

Hey everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for this cycle's ABSN program at Brockport that's starting next Summer 2021. It's been tough getting in touch with the program director this Summer (understandably so, this year has been bonkers!) and I figured this thread could be a good place to talk about the program and post questions that others might be able to answer! It's still early in the game but I thought it'd be a good idea nonetheless to have it up and ready to go ?

Try again using the link they gave you. If you can’t figure it out, you should call admissions tomorrow and explain them the issue, they should be able to help you. Don’t wait! The deadline is next week.

Use that link and click on the ABSN application. The link beckanursa1 put was technically the link for her app I think so that’s why it wasn’t working for you! Try out the one I put and let us know if you’re still having trouble!

hey guys, does the official transcripts need to be arrived by the deadline? ? I sent through portage learning now and it says it might take up to 10 days!!

hmm not sure. I know UB has an Oct 1 deadline as well and they're allowing transcripts to be submitted until the 15th. No idea if Brockport has a similar policy! Either way, I'm confident it won't take the 10 days! Especially if its pdf/electronic

Yep, I submitted the supplemental ABSN app already and the only thing required beyond filling in the actual app was to upload a 1-2 page personal statement. No LOR or anything else is required.

I submitted my resume. The last page of the application gives you the option to download a file so I submitted my resume. I think this is not required but the admissions advisor told me to attach it to my application.

I actually did this as well. I just didn't want to cause any confusion mentioning it since it technically isn't required! 

Did anyone receive their Banner ID yet, or any sort of status checker? The deadline is coming up and I just want reassurance from admissions that they have everything from me and that I'm all set! Now it's basically just time to play the waiting game!

I haven’t received a banner ID or a status checker but I received a copy of my whole application when I applied so I’m assuming they have everything they need. I hate waiting!
