Suggestions for ways an unemployed new grad nurse can volunteer medical services to help out during the Covid-19?

Nurses COVID

Updated:   Published

I graduated about four months ago and still don't have a job. I'm feel so pathetic/helpless though having a license and not being of any help with the disease. Does anyone know of ways a licensed nurse can volunteer services during the pandemic? (Other than social distancing)

Thanks!

Someone told me you would still need a BSN to apply for those jobs.

New York State is looking for nurses to help with COVID-19, regardless of BSN or not, and completely unrelated/separate from hospital job postings. The form to volunteer (it's paid, so maybe that's not technically volunteering) is here: https://apps.health.ny.gov/pubpal/builder/survey/retired-health-professional
