I work with a great crew of 5 regular CNA's on my unit. Would like to reward them with something nice but not too $$$$. Any suggestions?
It may sound cliche, but bake some cookies for each of them and their families, or a nice box of chocolate from wal mart. also, the dollar stores have nice chocolates this time of year.
The baking is more personal, and to me seems like you take the time to bake, you take the time to care. Good luck in what ever you pick, I am sure they will be happy with the thought.
Nice pens! Not cross, but the nice thick pens with the cushion. Works for male or female.
A gift basket of inexpensive goodies- lotions, bath salts, a candle, etc.
The home-baked treats are always great gifts. They go well for just about anybody. Even people who don't celebrate Christmas will usually accept these.
An inexpensive mug with cocoa mixes, teas, etc.
Whatever you do, try to personalize the gift to things you know the person likes. Knowing you've put a bit of thought and effort into the gift really makes it special.
Accompany the gift with a card. Put in writing how much you appreciate their work, how much you enjoy working with them, how much you've learned from them, etc.

Crimbo is a slang term for Christmas, originating in urban slang before becoming more widely used. The OED cites the first printed usage to 1928 (see [1]). They credit John Lennon’s 1963 usage in a Beatles’ Fan Club Christmas single as the first recorded use of the variant form Crimble (see [2]). The word also appeared in the title of a 2004 UK hit single, Proper Crimbo, performed by Leigh Francis with guest celebrities, in the guise of various Bo Selecta! characters.
It has also been adopted by the internet game, Kingdom of Loathing, as the official winter holiday.:monkeydance:
