Starting the thread for those anxious applicants trying to get a read on this year's pool of candidates...

So who is willing to post what they've scored?

Here's mine:

A&P 1: A

A&P 2: B+

Eng 1: A

Eng 2: B+

Micro: ___

Psych: A

Stats: C- (blah!)

TEAS: 78

Not particularly found of the revision to the rubric.

So what are you holding???

I am considered proficient.. advanced is what I heard they look for most. If you don't mind me asking did you hear from someone who works there that they take proficient or from someone who's currently in the program?

Hi, I heard it from someone who went to an information session. They were told you have to be "at least proficient". I guess if they have a list of TEAS scores in front of them along with your prerequisites courses that they add to the rubric score and they are simply starting with the top rubric scores and moving down until they fill their seats- that's what their website appears to indicate. They don't add any other courses to your rubric score other than those listed in the rubric. I'm going to an info session next month so I'll be sure to be asking all of these questions!

Yes, you're right. The school says to be "proficient" is the minimum for consideration.Nit If they have applicants in the "advanced range", which I think is (77-90?) they are obviously ahead of the "proficient" scores in the admissions process....

I'm beginning my prerequisites now- I have to take sciences again because mine are too old :(

I think she said they took a couple of people with proficient, but they were high proficient scores.

Hi I applied this Spring and took TEAS both results are proficient. My sciences are old too so I have to take them again. Do you think we can take both A&P1 and A&P2 at SCCC at the same time? How about Micro? Thanks!

A&P 1 and 2 cannot be taken at the same time.

A good news for those ones who hate Science portion of the ATI TEAS 6: Nassau Community College doesn't check Science portion.

Oh thanks for that info. I was about to ask SCC about it tomorrow. Are you taking A&P 1 right now? What book did they require? Because I bought the Connect Access card/Saladin 8th Edition.

Yes, I am taking A&P1 this fall 2017. I don't know yet what book we are going to use.

By the way... you bought it wrong and need to sell?
