Starting the thread for those anxious applicants trying to get a read on this year's pool of candidates...
So who is willing to post what they've scored?
Here's mine:
A&P 1: A
A&P 2: B+
Eng 1: A
Eng 2: B+
Micro: ___
Psych: A
Stats: C- (blah!)
TEAS: 78
Not particularly found of the revision to the rubric.
So what are you holding???
Hi I applied this Spring and took TEAS both results are proficient. My sciences are old too so I have to take them again. Do you think we can take both A&P1 and A&P2 at SCCC at the same time? How about Micro? Thanks!
I am in the same situation as you. I had to retake A& P 1 and A&P 2 because they were over 10 years old. I was told that the microbiology doesn't need to be retaken. If you look on the SCCC website, it says in small writing, about the A &P and doesn't mention micro. I applied to the spring program (LPN to RN) as well.
I recieved an 82.7 (advanced) on the teas
93.6 on reading
90.6 on math
74.5 on science
62.5 on English
i have also taken A&P 1/2, english, statistics, psychology, bio-ethics and I'm currently taking micro and western civ—all at NCC. I was told that on my suffolk transcript it will only show that these courses were transferred in and not show a grade, so how will I be rewarded for relevant coursework if at all, without them knowing if I recieved an A-B or C? I'm hoping I get accepted—if not I have until the last Friday in October to apply to Nassau's spring start RN program, they have a much later deadline. Keeping my fingers crossed and patiently waiting

Well if you get an A in a class, it should be counted as an A on the Rubric Score. It's just that the transcript will show that it was a transferred class rather than a class taken at Suffolk.
Good luck! *Crossing fingers*

Don't worry too much trying to get/buy books.
Try "crash course A&P" in youtube. It is amazing. You just need to see the videos and take note. It is much interesting than the ultra-boring book.
Your book will be just a guide. You will find the youtube tutorial more helpful than the book.
