  1. How many people applied for LPN-RN program and how many are just straight up RN?

5 members have participated

So I'm not sure how many people apply to the Spring Program at Suffolk but wanted a spot for us to talk and compare our grades and just have each others back through the process! Feel free to just say what you're feeling and your grades! Good luck to everyone!!!

Congrats to all that got accepted!! Are you all LPN-RN or did some of you apply directly to RN that got accepted already?

I am not an LPN. Was accepted to the Grant Campus directly to RN. I wouldn't give up hope yet if you didn't hear anything. My email said that if we didn't hand in our deposit by the 19th or declined our seat would be given up.

I also got into the straight RN program but definitely don't lose hope yet !

Straight RN for me, too. (Rubric score was around 82, I think, for the person who asked earlier.) Admitted to Grant evening.

Has anyone gotten a hard copy letter yet? I'm now checking every day, nervous about getting it back by the 19th.

@bbeere I know. It's so hard to get a hold of someone in the office. And there are always conflicting reports. Hopefully they do have a meeting. Or we get more information with the acceptance packet.

Ive gotten nothing in the regular mail yet and the same I'm getting anxious. I was just coming on here to see if anyone had gotten the hard copy yet or maybe they are waiting to see who declines. ??

Yeah I'm getting anxious to. I keep checking my informed delivery at usps to see what's coming.

I was told that the programs are not interchangeable. You have to go where you are accepted because the class sizes are limited, but you can ask.

They definitely do have an orientation for incoming RN and LPN-RN just hope I can make it because it would help a lot

YAYYYYYYYY

I got accepted for Grant campus evening program. Straight RN!!!

My rubric scores were 80% and I am 27.

I am still waiting for the letter mailing home.

Congrats to everyone who got accepted and gonna see you guys soon!

This is my third time applying at Suffolk and I finally got it.

For anyone who did not get accepted, please keep applying and one day will be yours!!!

Hi Nopparin! Can't wait to meet you! I am 27 as well and doing the Grant evening straight RN program!

Hi everyone -

Did anyone apply as a transfer and get any sort of notification yet? I hate that I can't check my application status as a transfer :(

I'm 33 and I've been an LPN for far longer than I'd like to admit. I screwed up about a decade ago trying to get "pre reqs" done and basically spent the past 4 semesters busting my butt to get A's in classes I've already taken in the past, while working and raising 2 littles. I can't wait to start this program! I feel like getting in is going to be the hardest part of the whole process. Congratulations again to everyone!
