  1. How many people applied for LPN-RN program and how many are just straight up RN?

5 members have participated

So I'm not sure how many people apply to the Spring Program at Suffolk but wanted a spot for us to talk and compare our grades and just have each others back through the process! Feel free to just say what you're feeling and your grades! Good luck to everyone!!!

Is anyone in the program and thinking about doing a BSN program or the fall? I'm torn in what to do:/

Trust me I've been conflicted for forever... but I feel like going to Suffolk for me would be the best because I can go to school and work full time. I was conflicted on even accepting but I thought about how hard it is to get into any program and Suffolk is a great program.

Hey guys! I found out a few weeks ago I got accepted into the Farmingdale BSN program, which I was honestly not expecting at all. I was so set on Suffolk cus I felt like I needed to work full time, keep my benefits, make money, etc. and doing a BSN program I would need to go part time. Been trying to see if I can work it out fianacially and go part time at work so I can get my BSN done in 3 years asopposed to 3 years for an associate and then still having to finish my bachelors. So stressful!

Congratulations @catsweeney at least that's a great place to be in farmingdale is an amazing school so you have two really great opportunities with whatever you decide! My mom is a nurse at Farmingdale and she wanted me to go there because it is such an amazing program unfortunately I did not get in, very happy for you great accomplishment to have gotten in!!!

Just think about what would be the best option for you and what would work best with your life that's what I had to do.. weigh out pros and cons

Does anyone have the email address that you have to email for confirming that you're attending the nursing orientation on 12/7 for ammerman campus? I can't find the paper! Thank you guys

Hey all! I am part time working ~ 20-25 hours a week. I am worried if the school gonna be too tough for me because I will need to take Psychology along with the other 2 nursing classes in the first semester as well.

Is there anyone going to take Psychology too? I have not registered for any classes yet until after our first orientation. I also have not done the CPR certificate.

That's a great opportunity Catsweeney! I hope I could finish BSN in 3 years but I've never applied to any other schools. My goal was getting into Suffolk because it is the most affordable.

Like RomeJM said, choose what best for you. Best wishes always!

Nopparin as RomeJM said to Catsweeney whatever works best for you, with work and nursing school of course it will be tough but if you think that you can handle it and do it while keeping up with school of course do it! Its whatever you think is going to work the best in your favor. Don't stress too much just weigh out pros and cons and see what the best option is for you!

Anyone a bit nervous for orientation this week lol
