  1. How many people applied for LPN-RN program and how many are just straight up RN?

So I'm not sure how many people apply to the Spring Program at Suffolk but wanted a spot for us to talk and compare our grades and just have each others back through the process! Feel free to just say what you're feeling and your grades! Good luck to everyone!!!

Hey girls and guys! I got into LPN-RN at Grant! Im so excited and overwhelmed by the email I was not expecting. Im 24! Anyone else at grant and do you know if other classes like HIS or A&P can be taken at other campuses if the time is better?! Cant wait to meet you guys! Anyone also go to boces and graduate aug 2017 with me ?!!! :)

bbeere, I hope we can. I got accepted into grant and noticed ammerman works out better for my work schedule. Are you in LPN to RN or straight RN?

I'm LPN to RN at Ammerman, what are you? & I agree, I was looking at the schedule and notice that at some points throughout the program I think Grant would work better for me. I spoke with admission counselor today who told me that you can only take the NUR courses at the campus you were accepted for, but may take liberal arts courses wherever. Super frustrating but makes sense, there's limited seats for lecture and clinical for the nursing courses.

@bbeere I'm doing the LPN to RN. I guess it does make sense but still sucks. Is it just at some points that wouldn't work out for you at ammerman or the entire curriculum? Maybe we can look into it to see if they would allow us to swap spaces?

It is at just some points it would work out easier for me to take at grant. I think I noticed that it's the semester with NUR 236 AND NUR 238 that is difficult with my work schedule. I'm hoping that we have an information session for admitted students that were supposed to attend to get more information because i'm not sure if those two courses are taken at the same time that semester or if one is the first half of the semester and then the other the second half. if that's the case it would be fine. Like i said hopefully we have a meeting or something we're supposed to attend before january. It's hard getting in contact with anyone at suffolk, you're on hold for like 45 minutes!
